HILLSBOROUGH - CONVEYANCING LEGAL SECRETARY

Experienced conveyancing legal secretary required for busy firm of Solicitors in Hillsborough.  This is a full time and permanent role.

The successful candidate will be a competent audio typist and will be confident in drafting Contracts, applying for Property Certificates, Searches etc.

Previous experience of using case management systems would be desirable but is not essential.

Experience of Wills, Probate and Commercial Conveyancing would also be desirable, but not essential either.

Litigation Legal Secretary - Lisburn

Job description

Your Legal Secretaries have partnered with a very busy and long established legal firm to appoint a litigation legal secretary.

Main purpose of the role:


The successful candidate will offer full administrative duties to their solicitor and will also assist any other fee earner/staff member as and when required to do so. You will have worked as a litigation secretary for at least two years and be proficient in audio typing with a high level of accuracy.


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Audio typing letters, emails, file notes, pleadings and any other documentation required.

  • Proof reading and correcting documents.

  • Opening, maintaining and closing files in line with the firm's own processes.

  • Diary management.

  • Setting up meetings/consultations, preparing files and paperwork in advance of same.

  • Making and receiving phone calls and liaising with clients, other legal firms etc.

  • Supporting other legal secretaries within the firm during busy periods.

  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
